Plans to turn a mill into flats and offices have been submitted to Bradford Council.
Altex UK is behind the proposals for Adelaide Street, off Manchester Road, and want to turn part of the building into 14 apartments.
The four storey building’s basement is used for car storage and other floors are only part occupied for storage and office use.
The basement will remain for storage, the ground floor kept for offices and the top three floors used for housing. There will also be a gym fon the first floor.
Their application says the gain of new accommodation would outweigh the loss of employment space. It adds: “The loss of three floors of underused employment floorspace to resident use would not undermine either local or national policies.”
