A 20-year-old man who plunged to his death from the 6th floor of a Bingley tower block in the early hours of Saturday has been named as Maurice Raymond Tretton.
Police were called to Adelaide House on Crosley Wood Road after 4am where Mr Tretton, formerly of Braithwaite, Keighley, was found lying on the ground outside the flats where he lived.
Det Insp Ryan Bragg, of Bradford CID, said: “We were called shortly after 4am on Saturday, January 18, to a report that a man had fallen from the 6th floor of a property (pictured) at Crossley Wood Rd, Bingley. “He was treated by paramedics, but died at the scene,” DI Bragg said.
“At this stage there is nothing to suggest any third party involvement in the death,” he said.
Floral tributes were left at the scene over the weekend, one of which bore the message: “RIP Moz. you will be missed.”
Mr Tretton’s identity was released by police yesterday afternoon and a date for opening an inquest has yet to be set.
