A 25-year-old man has pleaded not guilty at Bradford Crown Court to the murder of mother-of-two Jade Watson, who was found dead in a caravan behind a house in Bradford.
James Gray, of Wood Lane, Swain House, Bradford, was remanded back into custody by the Recorder of Bradford, Judge Roger Thomas QC, yesterday.
Gray, who wore blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a blue cardigan for the short hearing, spoke clearly to deny the charge.
He will next come to court on April 30 for his trial, set to last up to seven days.
Tina Landale, barrister for the defence, said a psychological report was being prepared.
Miss Watson, 22, of Wrose, Shipley, was found dead in the caravan behind a house in Wood Lane in November.
She worked at the Inn Plaice fish shop in Sunbridge Road, Bradford city centre.
