Bradford District Care Trust is hosting a series of weekly walks led by the Trust’s Community Health Champions Ronda Christensen and Ralph Harding.
The walkers meet every Thursday at Bingley Arts Centre in Main Street for a route lasting two hours, starting at 12.30pm.
Miss Christensen who leads the Bingley walk said: “The group specifically supports people who want to get fitter and lose weight but also provides people with the opportunity to build confidence and make friends.”
Community Health activities are run by champions who volunteer through Bradford District Care Trust’s Specialist Services to develop and lead various activities in their local community to support the well-being of patients and service-users.
