Parking tickets were dished out to 15 motorists who had parked illegally in part of Bradford city centre.
Officers from the city team were deployed to Summerville Road, Shearbridge, following increased concerns from residents in relation to parking issues, vehicles being used in an anti-social manner and noise.
Officers from the special constabulary and wardens from the council assisted in tackling the issues.
Between 11pm and 1.30am on Friday and Saturday, officers spoke to a number of people in relation to consideration to residents.
A cannabis warning was issued after a vehicle was stopped and the occupants searched. And 15 tickets were issued to vehicles found to be illegally parked.
A spokesman for the City Safer Neighbourhood Team said “While it is good to see business thriving in Bradford it cannot be at the detriment of residents’ quality of lives in their homes. These patrols will continue and those found to be repeat offenders will be dealt with under anti-social behaviour legislation. I would like to urge anyone having problems in this area to get in touch with local officers to assist us build an accurate picture of the issues in this area.”
