Two friends have together raised £1,200 for Manorlands through running a stall at a series of car boot sales.
Anne Thompson and Trish Wood attended each sale held in Haworth Road, Cullingworth, last year.
Both women are members of the organising committee for the Bronte Vintage Gathering (BVG), which is staged annually at the Cullingworth site in aid of Manorlands. They have now begun preparations for the next BVG, on May 10 and 11.
Since it was first held 15 years ago, the extravaganza has raised more than £300,000 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
Matthew Binns, a regional fundraiser based at Manorlands, said: “Anne and Trish work tirelessly throughout the year raising funds for us and we are extremely grateful.
“If they aren’t ploughing their efforts into one of the three events organised by the Bronte Vintage Gathering committee, they do something else to raise money for Manorlands.
“Their fundraising will help us to continue providing incredible care, both at the hospice and within the local community.”
