Artists have been asked for their ideas on ways to brighten up a neglected area of Little Germany in Bradford.

Little Germany Action, set up to improve the area and make it more welcoming, want to commission a piece of art for a bricked-up archway on Church Bank, opposite the cathedral.

They will provide £750, including materials, to an artist to create a 2D painting, mural or sculpture that can be permanently fixed to the wall.

Proposals, including examples of previous work, should be sent by 5pm on February 7 by e-mail to info@littlegermanyaction.org
