A Bradford teenager has been convicted by a jury of sexually abusing his younger sister. The 17-year-old defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was bailed to return to Bradford Crown Court for sentence on February 27.
The Recorder of Bradford, Judge Roger Thomas QC yesterday ordered the preparation of a report from the probation service.
The teenager was found guilty of 12 offences, reflecting a range of sexual abuse over several years, until the girl was 13.
Two of the 14 original charges were withdrawn from the jury during the course of the week-long trial.
