A series of free film talks by the Bradford City of Film team will be held at the new City Library.
Taking place on the last Thursday of each month between 5.30pm and 6.30pm, the talks will cover a range of film subjects and will encourage discussion and debate.
The first talk will be presented by Bradford City of Film director David Wilson, who will give an overview of the life and work of Charlie Chaplin.
Mr Wilson said: “This is a great opportunity for anyone to get involved in discussions on film, film-makers, cinema, different genres and so on in the new City Library.
“I chose Chaplin as February marks the 100th anniversary of his most famous character, the little tramp.”
The second speaker will be Dr Mark Goodall, a senior film studies lecturer at the University of Bradford and a guest programmer for Bradford International Film Festival. His subject, on February 27, is Documentary Visions of Yorkshire, looking at a range of documentary films representing different aspects of Yorkshire.
