Eleven-year-old Katie Mae Ramsey is making her debut on a Bradford stage in Buttershaw St Paul’s Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society’s production of Annie at St George’s Hall.
Chairman Anne Tonks, who invited Katie Mae to audition for the lead role in the rags-to-riches musical set in a downtown New York orphanage, calls the youngster “a star in the making”.
The lively score includes Tomorrow and It’s a Hard Knock Life.
