Bradford Cathedral has appointed a former member of the armed forces as its director of strategic development and operations.
Lieutenant Colonel Amanda Anderson retired after 21 years in the Royal Army Medical Corps at the end of last year and will soon take up her new full-time role.
She will be responsible for the traditional administrative oversight of the cathedral and focus on strategic development opportunities in line with changes to the city and diocese.
“It is an exciting time,” said the cathedral’s Dean, Jerry Lepine.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming Amanda to the Cathedral and to working with her as we seek to strengthen and develop our mission and ministry.”
