Pupils’ work inspired by American artist Jackson Pollock has been on display.
Children at Stanbury Primary School opened a temporary art gallery and invited parents, villagers and local politicians to a launch party.
The youngsters created their own paintings after studying the style of Pollock, who was a major figure in the abstract expressionist movement.
The school spokesman said the children’s paintings were based on the theme of the seasons.
