Voluntary groups in Keighley will next month hear about the impact of public spending cuts on youth services.
The subject will be addressed by the first meeting of Keighley and Ilkley Communities Forum.
The speaker at the first meeting will be Kerr Kennedy from both Young Lives, the umbrella body for the district’s youth groups, and voluntary sector umbrella body Bradford Assembly.
The Keighley forum will meet regularly so that community and voluntary sector organisations can discuss issues and opportunities that affect them all.
Run by Keighley and Ilkley voluntary and Community Action, the forum is open to local groups, whatever their size.
The meeting will be on February 12 from noon to 2pm at Central Hall in Alice Street, Keighley. Call 01535 665258 or email info@kivca. org.uk for information.
