Staff, students and governors are celebrating receiving praise from inspectors.
Whitcliffe Mount School in Cleckheaton has been judged as ‘good’ for a second time in all categories.
Head teacher Jennifer Templar said: “The Ofsted team spoke very highly of our students who were fantastic ambassadors for Whitcliffe Mount during the inspection and we were proud to receive feedback on our students’ excellent behaviour, their active participation in a range of school activities and clubs, the respect they show to others and the welcoming environment.”
Ofsted inspectors have released their report, following their visit to the Turnsteads Avenue school in December.
Miss Templar said: “There were so many positive comments in the report about Whitcliffe Mount, which is testament to everyone’s hard work and determination to move forward on our journey from good to outstanding.”
The report said “the quality of teaching is good and there are examples of outstanding teaching in both key stages” and that “relationships between teachers and students are good and teachers know their students well and set appropriate targets.”
They praised the school for its “sustained upward trend in achievement and progress”.
