A road closed by police after a major crash in Bradford was reopened this afternoon.
Officers had shut Oak Lane, Manningham, after the smash at noon, which involved an ambulance and a sports car.
The front of the white Peugeot RCZ sports car suffered heavy damage when it ploughed into the side of a building near the junction with St Mary’s Road.
A police spokesman also said the crash brought down a set of traffic lights, which fell into a shop.
The sports car’s driver, a 24-year-old man, has been taken to hospital.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz ambulance was uninjured.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash. Anyone who saw the incident should call PC Andy Richardson at the west area roads policing team, via 101.
