Oxenhope-based Bridgehouse Brewery is toasting successful festive fundraising in aid of Manorlands.
Its Rudolph's Ruin ale, from which 5p on every pint sold went to the Sue Ryder hospice, raised more than £250. The kitty was boosted to more than £330 by brewery co-owner David Halliday, who took part in the Stoop Fell Race above Haworth dressed as Rudolph.
“David did really well. There were about 400 runners and although the weather wasn’t good he still managed to finish in the top half of the field,” said Bridgehouse Brewery sales and marketing director, Simon Lamb.
