Ukrainian art from the middle and second half of the 20th century will be exhibited at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery in Bradford.
A selection of paintings representing artists from different regions and schools of pre-and post-World War Two periods in the Ukraine will go on show in the Cellar Gallary from Tuesday, February 11 until August 19. Coun Susan Hinchcliffe, Bradford Council’s executive member responsible for culture, said: “The Ukrainian community play an important role in Bradford’s cultural history.” The exhibition is being staged as part of the International Cultural Programme of the Kiev Art Gallery and ANN Gallery.
