Two men were taken to hospital after a head-on crash in Thornton, Bradford.
The collision, involving a white van and a Peugeot car, happened at 3pm yesterday where Egypt Road meets Dean Lane. The van also knocked down a wall.
The driver of the van was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with head injuries. The driver of the car was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with chest injuries.
Police said a large amount of nails and oil was left on the road after the crash. Fire crews from Fairweather Green and Bradford stations cut a side off both vehicles to free the men. The road was closed for investigations.
