Marie Curie Cancer Care is looking for people to help organise its annual Great Daffodil Appeal at supermarkets and other venues.
Collection organisers will organise the rota, book in and confirm collectors, drop off the collecting materials at the supermarket and then count and bank the money.
Katie Grinter, community fundraiser for the area, said: “To have a volunteer to help with one or two store collections makes a really big difference – not only does it ensure that our volunteers have fun while collecting but it means that we can raise more money for local cancer care. The role is flexible, running from February until April, and full training and support will be given.”
