Airedale General Hospital has set up a new website.
The site, developed over the past year, includes an interactive map allowing users to “walk” along the hospital corridors or seek out parking areas.
Among other features are information about – and contact details for – departments and wards, and an A-Z of consultants and services.
And the home page – airedale-trust.nhs.uk – will be used to advertise public health campaigns and events.
There is also a health blog and links to current vacancies, information about on-site accommodation available to let, volunteering details and an application form for work experience.
Ann Wagner, director of strategy and business development at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, said: “A website is quite often the first place people go to look for information, which is why it is so important to have an up-to-date, easy-to-use site. We would welcome any feedback people have about our new website.”
