Annual charity sheepdog trials were a record-breaking success despite appalling weather.
Torrential rain deterred some people from attending the New Year’s Day event at Moor Lodge Farm, Oakworth, but more than £3,540 was raised for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
“The conditions were unbelievably wet but the day still went really well,” said Carol Mellin, who hosts the event with her son Philip.
Forty-one dogs with their owners from across the north attended.
There was also an auction, which alone raised £1,142.
Mrs Mellin added: “I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who gave their support and helped on the day. It was a tremendous effort.
“Special mention should be made of Ernest Ellison, who helped sell raffle tickets, and Alan Fothergill who went round getting donations.”
