Two men accused of being part of a knifepoint robbery on a cab driver in Bradford today made their first appearance at the city’s Crown Court.
Timothy Jackson, 25, of Falkland Road, Ravenscliffe, and Anthony Bakes, 20, of Thackeray Road, Ravenscliffe, face a charge of robbing Tanveer Hussain of a satellite navigation unit and a mobile phone valued at a total of £140 on Saturday, December 14.
Jackson also faces a charge of possessing an offensive weapon, namely a knife.
Neither defendant entered a plea to any charge and will next appear at Bradford Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing on March 13.
A provisional date for a trial, which is expected to last about three days, was set for May 28.
Both were remanded in custody until their next hearing.
