The Oakworth Village Morris Men are holding a recruitment session for new members.

Group leader Nigel Yeo said male dancers were needed and male and female musicians.

He added “No previous dancing experience is necessary – what’s needed is enthusiasm and a wish to help maintain an ancient English tradition.

“Morris dancing is a rewarding hobby both in performance and the social side of attending events around the country.”

The recruitment event takes place on Monday, January 13, at Oakworth Methodist Chapel at 8pm.
