Churches from the Bradford Diocese raised £1,532 for Sudan with a day of carol singing in the city centre Morrisons.
Archdeacon David Lee said: “We had a great day and collected a record total of £1,532 for the Kadugli Appeal which supports the churches in Sudan.
" It will make a great difference to them.”
