Transport of a miniature variety was in action when Keighley Model Railway Club staged its Christmas open day.

Several hundred people attended the event, at the club rooms in Keighley Business Centre, South Street. “We were really pleased with how it went,” said Mick McNamara, for the club.

“It’s that time of year when people are looking for something to do post-Christmas.

“All the club layouts were in operation and people brought along their own trains to run.”

Catering was provided by Denholme Scouts.

The club’s next event is the annual exhibition at Victoria Hall, Keighley, on March 15 and 16.
