A new project providing weekly curry and drinks to homeless people has received a boost with a restaurant serving up its first meals for the scheme.
My Lahore is the first restaurant to sponsor the Curry Circle, which was started earlier this month by The Muslim Women's Council.
The group’s founder Bana Gora said: “My Lahore is the first restaurant to sponsor the Curry Circle, when approached they came on board immediately.
“We’ve got a simple formula – we provide a free hot curry, a warm friendly environment which is accessible for individuals and families. The response has been great from volunteers and the goodwill from local restaurants, caterers and businesses has been incredible.
The Curry Circle is open every Thursday evening at the Carlisle Business Centre, Manningham.
