Historian’s talk boost for Keighley Parkinson’s Support Group
A ‘nostalgia trip’ led by Keighley historian Ian Dewhirst raised £360 for Keighley Parkinson’s Support Group.
The money represents the proceeds of a talk by Mr Dewhirst last October about life in the 1950s.
The event was organised by Exley Head Methodist Ladies Group, who also provided a pie and pea supper.
The ladies presented a cheque for the proceeds to the Parkinson’s Support Group during a coffee morning last month.
