Groups in the Bradford district that support pensioners are being invited to help each other improve their services and reach more people.
They can join dozens of groups that are already members of the town’s Older People’s Mutual Support Networks.
The networks are run across Bradford district by Julie Lintern (above), who is based at Keighley and Ilkley Voluntary and Community Action.
Groups come together to coordinate events and activities, share resources, increase opportunities for volunteers, increase membership, and build links with public organisations.
There are separate networks for neighbourhoods around Keighley town centre, Worth Valley villages, South Craven villages, and villages near Bingley including Denholme, Cullingworth and Wilsden.
Anyone interested in joining their local Mutual Support Network should contact julie@keighley.org.uk or call (01535) 665258.
