An action group fighting housing developments in Menston has begun a fresh battle against plans for more than 140 new homes.
Menston Action Group (MAG) is calling on its supporters to “act now” against two planning applications to build 146 houses on land off Bingley Road.
Developer Taylor Wimpey has outline planning permission to build up to 135 new houses on Bingley Road, but has now submitted a its detailed planning application for 134 homes.
And another developer, Chartford Homes, has submitted plans to Bradford Council for 12 houses on a field to the north-east of the Bingley Road site.
MAG, which also opposed plans for 173 houses on Derry Hill, is contesting assessments of flooding risk and drainage. The group is urging people to visit Bradford Council’s planning website and make their comments.
