Much-needed refurbishment to a church clock and tower has been completed.
All four faces of the 110-year-old clock at Keighley Shared Church have been cleaned and the hands on the eastern clock face, which were jammed by corrosion, have been freed in the £12,500 project.
Priest-in-charge, the Rev Peter Mott, said: “The clock hadn’t been refurbished for many years and its mechanism needed an overhaul. There were also minor repairs done to the tower’s stonework.”
