A Bradford children’s centre has been praised by Government inspectors for acting as the ‘hub of the community.’ Farcliffe and Lilycroft Children and Family Centre was deemed “good” in a recent Ofsted report, with inspectors saying staff worked “tremendously hard.”
The centre, on Toller Lane, is run by Bradford Council and has 90 per cent of local families registered with them.
Jackie Greenwood, Bradford Council’s Area Family Support Manager, said: “Everyone involved in the running of the centre has worked tremendously hard to deliver the services to local families that Ofsted has judged as being good.
“We will be focusing on the areas that Ofsted has identified where we can improve, including initiatives to help families adopt healthy lifestyles.”
