Carol-singing children have helped raise funds for Airedale Hospital’s endoscopy appeal.
The Steeton Primary School children sang carols in the hospital’s outpatients department, and were joined by staff from the endoscopy unit and members of Keighley Cougars rugby squad.
Julie Blackburn, sister on the endoscopy unit at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, said: “The children were fantastic.
“They sang carols throughout the morning to help bring some Christmas cheer to patients coming in for appointments, tests or treatment.”
During the break between performances, the endoscopy team held a collection amongst visitors and staff to raise funds for the same appeal.
Julie added: “It was a great opportunity to raise awareness, as well as entertain people who were visiting the various clinics.”
