A school science club has won through to the national finals of a robot challenge. The team from Oakbank, in Keighley, had to build a robot and complete a project on The Fury of Nature.
Members invented a survival bag to be used to help people in the initial stages of a flood. They won the regional heat of the First Lego League Nature’s Fury competition and will now take part in the UK and Ireland championships, at Loughborough University in February.
