The junior section of the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band wowed a packed hall at the recent annual patrons concert.
The youth band took to the stage to perform numbers such as William Tell, the James Bond theme and a version of the theme tune from Ghostbusters.
Youth band conductor Dean Redfearn praised the children's dedication, having had only ten weeks to get the band up to concert standard.
The senior band got the concert off to a fine start with a rousing performance of circus march The Waltonian and performed festive classics such as Christmas Overture and The Snowman.
Sheona White performed Belstead’s Capriccio Brillante, Lucy Cutt performed the Rocking Carol, Stuart Lingard gave old classic the Nightingale an airing and David Thornton gave a crowdpleasing performance of Monti’s Czardas.
The evening was rounded off with a standing ovation to the band’s encore, the Floral Dance.
