Pudsey has crowned a tradesman as a darts champion after a three-week competition run by a builders merchant.
Alan Glover (pictured centre with colleagues), who is also a cricketer for Pudsey Congs, saw off more than 50 other customers who had entered the nine-dart challenge with a winning score of 200. He has won a dartboard signed by five-time World Champion Eric Bristow, a new set of darts and two tickets to a leading darts event.
Gibbs & Dandy store manager Darren Hoyland said: “We thought the tournament would be a bit of fun for our customers but never expected it to be quite so popular. It was great to see everyone really get into it, with lots of competitive banter flying around alongside the darts.”
