Dog lovers in Keighley are hounding a cafe owner for copies of a charity calendar.
Beverley Bottomley’s 2014 calendar features photographs of 24 dogs owned by customers of the Cavendish Court Cafe.
The canine calendar will raise funds for the Bull Mastiff Rescue which finds new homes for abandoned dogs across the UK.
Beverley owns eight bull mastiffs and regularly raises money for dog charities.
She sold several of the calendars at a Christmas fair in Cavendish Court shopping centre earlier this month, also in aid of Bull Mastiff Rescue.
She said: “I have so many customers coming in with their pets because it’s a dog-friendly cafe. We got sponsorship for the cost of the calendar so every penny goes to the charity.”
Beverley’s biggest sponsor was the Flower Shop in North Street.
Copies of the calendar are available for £5 each from the cafe. Beverley expects to raise about £800 from the project.
