More than 130 selection boxes have been delivered to children who will spend Christmas at Bradford Royal Infirmary thanks to customers and staff of Barclays bank.
Sarah Royal, a cashier at Barclays in Wyke, asked staff, customers, colleagues, friends and family to help with the appeal.
She said: “Our target was 80 to cover the three children’s wards at BRI.
“But in total we collected about 130 boxes, allowing the staff at BRI to give the extra boxes to the children’s accident and emergency department, and the day clinics they run.”
Cash donations were also received allowing £120 to be given to children’s cancer charity Clic Sargent.
