Detectives are hunting robbers armed with a metal bar who attacked a woman at her Cleckheaton home.
The two men got into the house in Victoria Road at about 6.50pm on Tuesday where the 28-year-old woman was alone.
They demanded money and gold from her, pulling her to the floor and striking her on the back of her head during her ordeal.
Detective Constable Gemma Smith, of Huddersfield CID, said: "When she screamed for help, the men ran from the house and down a path way into the local housing estate.
“The only item stolen was a mobile phone, however; this was clearly an extremely upsetting experience. Thankfully the victim was not seriously injured."
The men are white, around 18-years-old and were wearing black coats with their hoods up.
Anyone with information should contact police immediately on the non emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555.
