More new retailers were today confirmed as tenants for the Broadway centre.
Topshop, Topman and Sainsbury’s will be among the 70-plus stores, restaurants and cafes in the complex, which include Debenhams and Marks & Spencer as anchor retailers, and River Island, H Samuel, Next, Ernest Jones, W H Smith, Vodaphone and Phones 4 U.
The Sainsbury’s store will be 4,510 sq ft and Topshop/Topman will take a 10,300 sq ft unit.
Westfield’s director of development Duncan Bower said interest from other retailers had “picked-up hugely” with many more “in the wings.”
The Australian developer is “very confident” it can fill all of the centre’s units, he said.
The Broadway development already has retailer commitments for more than half of its floor space, which it says reflects retailers’ appetite to capture a share of the centre’s estimated weighted annual spend potential of £873 million.
Retail analysts CACI recently identified Bradford as one of the UK’s top ten new retail opportunities.
