Oxenhope Railway Station
A two-storey cafe planned at Oxenhope railway station could create nine jobs.
The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (K&WVR) is seeking permission for the building next to the platform. A planning application has been submitted to Bradford Council.
The cafe would replace a cramped facility aboard an old railway carriage.
K&WVR chairman Dr Matt Stroh said: “We have been keen to develop a permanent cafe for decades.”
The facility seats about 30 but the new cafe would seat between 70 and 80 people.
