Social landlord Incommunities hopes to build 64 new homes on brownfield land in Bradford.
Incommunities has submitted a planning application for the development, which would be built on Green Lane, Manningham.
Most of the two, three and four-bedroom homes would be rented out to its tenants, but 16 of the four-bedroom homes would be sold to private buyers. The 1.8-hectare site was previously occupied by ten blocks of 1960s maisonettes, which have been demolished over the last four years.
An initial consultation has already been carried out. Residents in the area put forward a range of views, with some people not keen on the development, but others saying more homes were needed in the area.
