A 28-year-old Bradford man will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to punching a man.
James Salt, of Broad Street, Bradford city centre, was due to stand trial today.
Salt denied causing Andrew Lang grievous bodily harm on April 24 but admitted the less serious offence of causing him actual bodily harm.
His plea was accepted by the Crown and the case was adjourned until January 20 for the preparation of a report from the probation service.
Judge Peter Benson warned Salt that all options were open to the sentencing judge, including custody.
