Children at a Bradford primary school can now read their favourite books in a state-of-the-art library after a £12,000 refurbishment.
The new-look library at St Philip’s School in Whitby Terrace, Girlington, offers a huge amount of new books as well as a new layout, computers and furniture that will allow pupils to get lost in a good book.
Deputy head teacher Martin Bishop said: “The library has been completely refurbished. There are many more books here than before and it is a much more comfortable seating area.
“We’ve spent about £12,000 altogether, including the books and all the work done. There will be lessons there, story time and drama classes. The children can really get lost in their books.”
