A night of festive singing at Bradford Bulls’ Odsal stadium has been hailed a success and could become an annual event.
More than 1,000 people joined a Stadium Carols event at the Provident Stadium, where revellers sang carols and listening to readings from some famous faces including Bulls chief executive Robbie Hunter-Paul, club captain Matt Diskin and former Bradford City star Wayne Jacobs.
Eight Bradford schools took part and the event was a great success by organisers, the Bulls Foundation, which says its is now planning a similar event for next year.
All proceeds have been forwarded to the Bulls Foundation, while Christians Against Poverty shared the takings from a collection.
Foundation general manager Gareth Cook said: “I would like to thank everyone who supported the event and also those who helped to make it all possible.”
