The Friends of Keighley (Redcar) Tarn have issued their priorities for improvements to the beauty spot.
The “wish list” includes improving footpath access and tackling road safety issues such as speeding.
Members want to safeguard the wildfowl and wildlife and improve the “family-friendly” environment of the tarn, while working with others to tackle anti-social behaviour.
The Friends will look at providing a cafe or other refreshments outlet. They also want to encourage healthy outdoor activities and exercise and explore the tourism potential of the tarn.
