A charity has made a plea for money and food to help cats in Bradford this Christmas.
Brenda Satterley, who has run Bradford Cat Rescue at her home in Allerton for 40 years, said she is struggling to pay a vets’ bill and also needs food for the many cats she looks after. She is also asking people to give one of her cats a home.
Mrs Satterley, who last week won a lifetime achievement award at the Telegraph & Argus Community Stars Awards for her charity work with cats, also appealed for bric-a-brac or tombola items. Donations can be sent to Mrs Satterley at 258 Allerton Road, Allerton, Bradford.
