Volunteers are being sought to take part in a bulb planting session which could lead to the formation of a Rawdon in Bloom group.
The planting, which is being organised by the parish council, will take place on grassland between Over Lane and Larkfield Road.
Volunteers are being asked to bring a spade and “the desire to make Rawdon an even more beautiful place to live”.
Anyone who wants to help with the planting or the In Bloom group should meet in the Emmott Arms car park at 10am on Saturday, December 21.
Contact Coun Phil Gomersall on (0113) 250 1528 for more information or just turn up on the day.
