An elderly woman, who had to be rushed to hospital after being robbed in her home, has died.
Shirley Long, 77, who had an existing lung condition, suffered breathing difficulties after the hold up at her home in Manchester Road, Bradford.
Two men forced their way into her flat and stole cash, bank cards and a mobile phone.
Police have renewed an appeal for information after Mrs Long died in hospital on Wednesday night.
Detective Chief Inspector Nick Wallen, who is leading the investigation, said: "Mrs Long was a frail and vulnerable member of the community and clearly she never recovered from this heartless attack.”
