Bradford’s NSPCC centre has arranged a pre-Christmas visit for one of its supporters.

For the last year the YPO, the largest public sector buying organisation in the UK, has given a range of products including damaged stock and customer returns which cannot be sold but can still be used. The NSPCC has used the gifts throughout its six centres in Yorkshire and Humber and within some of the services it delivers to children and families.

The charity’s young people participation groups have utilised arts and craft materials at their regular meetings.

Helen Verity, the NSPCC’s community fundraising manager, invited the YPO and their staff to the Bradford centre to see the benefits of their donations.

Julie Wray, YPO’s head of people support services, said: We don’t like to see anything go to waste, so we are proud that such items are able to support the vital work of charities like the NSPCC.”

Sharda Parthasarathi, service manager for the NSPCC in Bradford and Leeds, said: “I would really like to thank everyone at YPO for their continued support and very kind donations.”
