Children will officially open a new Co-operative food store in Burley-in-Wharfedale.
Burley Woodhead Primary School and Burley Oaks Primary School will each receive a £100 donation for their help on the day.
The Co-operative Group has converted a former carpet showroom on Main Street into the new 2,000 sq ft convenience store.
It gained planning permission for the work earlier this year, after abandoning plans rejected by Bradford Council and a planning inspector to move into an extended Burley Library.
The group currently runs a convenience store on Station Road.
Store manager James Williment said: “We are thrilled to open the doors of our new store on Main Street and as a community retailer it is important to us that our two neighbouring primary schools will be playing a central role in the opening of our new store.”
